There are several reasons to schlep to the top of Harrow Hill; fabulous views of London, beautiful old buildings and a coupla hundred metres further up the road from Harrow school, Italian restaurant Incanto. Obviously if we’re climbing a hill, there better be food at the top. Housed in a former post office, this hidden gem is the kind of place you can dress up or down. Keep it simple with the set lunch and dinner menus or go for a full-fledged 8-course blow out. Either way you’ll be we’ll taken care of by the absolutely delightful and knowledgeable staff. Resist, if you can, filling up on the super-tasty house bread, especially if you order some of the cured meats (accompanied by sinfully addictive crescentine bread fritters), the main events are too tasty to ruin your appetite for and there’s always got to be room for dessert.
