Good thing this pared back pizzeria is expanding, since its original location in Brixton market is always packed with the hungry devouring its lipsmackingly good sourdough pizzas – unquestionably amongst the best in London. Squeeze onto one of the wooden tables with the other Brixton yuppies and dive into a feast of melty, cheesy, meaty, doughy goodness. The menu is simple – pizza down one side, booze down the other (see, you can already tell you’re onto a winner). You can feel warm and fuzzy about it too – where possible the ingredients are sourced locally, or from Italy for authenticity’s sake. Watch out for the weird opening hours and be prepared for a bit of a wait – no reservations, of course.
