It’s not hard to see why the celebs are slave to the sublime seafood at Scott’s. Every detail is pitch perfect – not that’s you’d expect any less from London’s most eponymous restaurant business, Richard Caring’s Caprice holdings. No request is too big or too small for the impeccably trained (and suited) staff, who know everything there is to know about the good-looking fish-based menu. The carpets are plush, the leather chairs look expensive and the tablecloths perfectly starched. Little wonder the rich and famous love this place so much; this is a home away from home for David Walliams’ dog, Bert, and Charles Saatchi and Nigella Lawson are also frequently to be found on one of the exclusive outdoor tables. Sit at the oyster bar for a last minute supper if you don’t have a reservation or try and grab one of the few outside tables in the summer for a spot of people watching.
